With a team of Graphic Designers and a Web Developer, we updated the ARTIDEA.ORG website in anticipation of the 2016 Festival. The re-design majorly overhauled the homepage of the website, making more flexible, customizable blocks versus the previous homepage slideshow. Since the Festival website varies greatly from on-season to off-season, the homepage needed many customizable blocks that were easy to update with the changing programming throughout the year. The blog and social media accounts were added to the homepage to highlight the information posted to those various outlets.
The Events landing page, specific event pages, and static information pages were all updated to incorporate full width layouts, pared down styling to focus on the content, and ease of use for consumers.
In 2018, we decided the homepage needed an off-season update to be simple and impactful and push people to the things that were immediately available, while still highlighting the “Donate” box, blog, and social media upon scrolling.
